Drive Connect collects the following categories of personal information:

IDENTITY INFORMATION: Government-issued ID documents, facial images for identity verification, full legal name, date of birth, and address.

CONTACT INFORMATION: Email address, phone number, and mailing address.

FINANCIAL INFORMATION: Payment card information (processed through our payment processor — Drive Connect does not store full card numbers), bank account information for Operator payouts, and transaction history.

INSURANCE INFORMATION: Personal auto insurance policy details, carrier information, and coverage confirmation.

VEHICLE INFORMATION (Operators): Vehicle make, model, year, VIN, registration, title documentation, and photos.

USAGE INFORMATION: Platform activity, booking history, search queries, device information, IP address, browser type, and geographic location.

VERIFICATION DATA: Fraud screening results, identity verification status, and behavioral signals used for fraud detection.

COMMUNICATIONS: Messages exchanged through the platform between Operators and Renters.

2. How We Use Your Information

Drive Connect uses your personal information for the following purposes:

PLATFORM OPERATION: To facilitate marketplace transactions, process payments, and administer the platform.

VERIFICATION: To verify identity, confirm insurance coverage, and conduct fraud screening.

TRUST AND SAFETY: To detect and prevent fraud, investigate disputes, and enforce platform policies.

COMMUNICATIONS: To send booking confirmations, platform notifications, and service communications.

LEGAL COMPLIANCE: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal process.

PLATFORM IMPROVEMENT: To analyze usage patterns and improve platform functionality.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising without your consent.

3. Information Sharing

Drive Connect shares your personal information in the following circumstances:

WITH TRANSACTION COUNTERPARTIES: When you complete a booking, we share necessary information with the Operator (for Renters) or Renter (for Operators) to facilitate the transaction.

WITH DRIVE PROTECTION INC.: If you purchase a Protection Plan, we share relevant information with Drive Protection Inc. to administer the protection plan.

WITH PAYMENT PROCESSORS: We share payment information with our payment processing partners to process transactions.

WITH VERIFICATION PROVIDERS: We share identity information with third-party verification services to confirm identity and detect fraud.

WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT: We may share information with law enforcement agencies in response to valid legal process or to protect the safety of platform participants.

WITH PROFESSIONAL ADVISORS: We may share information with attorneys, accountants, and other professional advisors in connection with legal, financial, or compliance matters.

4. Data Retention

Drive Connect retains personal information for the following periods:

ACCOUNT INFORMATION: Retained for the duration of your account and for 7 years after account closure, as required for legal and compliance purposes.

TRANSACTION RECORDS: Retained for 7 years after the transaction date for financial and legal compliance purposes.

VERIFICATION DATA: Retained for the duration of your account and for 5 years after account closure.

FRAUD SCREENING DATA: Retained indefinitely for platform safety purposes. Accounts suspended for fraud are permanently flagged.

COMMUNICATIONS: Retained for 3 years after the communication date.

5. Data Security

Drive Connect implements industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

- Encryption of data in transit and at rest - Access controls limiting employee access to personal information - Regular security audits and penetration testing - Incident response procedures for data breaches

No security system is impenetrable. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, Drive Connect will notify you as required by applicable law.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

- The right to access your personal information - The right to correct inaccurate information - The right to delete your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements) - The right to restrict processing of your information - The right to data portability - The right to object to processing

7. Cookies and Tracking

Drive Connect uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the platform, analyze usage, and detect fraud. You may control cookie settings through your browser, but disabling certain cookies may affect platform functionality.

We use device fingerprinting and behavioral analysis for fraud detection purposes. This data is used solely for platform safety and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

The Drive Connect platform is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

Drive Connect may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
