Important: Protection Plans Are Not Insurance

Protection Plans available through Drive Connect are provided by Drive Protection Inc., an independent protection plan provider. Drive Connect does not provide insurance. Protection Plans are not insurance policies. Drive Connect is not responsible for Protection Plan coverage, claims decisions, or disputes with Drive Protection Inc.

1. Protection Plan Provider

Protection Plans available through the Drive Connect platform are provided by Drive Protection Inc. ("Drive Protection"), an independent protection plan provider. Drive Connect facilitates the purchase of Protection Plans but does not underwrite, administer, or guarantee Protection Plan coverage.

Drive Connect remits Protection Plan fees to Drive Protection Inc. following each completed transaction. Drive Protection Inc. is solely responsible for Protection Plan coverage, claims administration, and all obligations under the Protection Plan.

2. What Protection Plans Cover

Protection Plans provided by Drive Protection Inc. provide coverage for physical damage to the rented vehicle during the rental period, subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions described in this document and the Protection Plan certificate provided at purchase.

Coverage includes: - Collision damage to the rented vehicle - Comprehensive damage (theft, weather, vandalism) to the rented vehicle - Towing costs resulting from a covered incident - Loss of use charges from the Operator during repair

Coverage is subject to a deductible as specified in the Protection Plan selected.

3. Protection Plan Exclusions

Protection Plans do NOT cover:

- Damage resulting from prohibited uses (racing, off-road use, illegal activities) - Damage caused by driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances - Damage to the interior of the vehicle (unless caused by a covered collision) - Normal wear and tear - Mechanical failures or breakdowns - Damage to tires and wheels (unless caused by a covered collision) - Personal property inside the vehicle - Liability to third parties (bodily injury or property damage to others) - Damage occurring outside the agreed rental period - Damage caused by unauthorized drivers - Damage resulting from misrepresentation at booking

Drive Protection Inc. will review the claim and make a coverage determination within 10 business days. Coverage decisions are made by Drive Protection Inc. — not Drive Connect.

6. Relationship Between Protection Plans and Personal Insurance

Protection Plans provided by Drive Protection Inc. are designed to work alongside the Renter's personal auto insurance. Protection Plans are not a substitute for personal auto insurance.

Renters are required to maintain active personal auto insurance regardless of whether they purchase a Protection Plan. In the event of a claim, the Protection Plan may be primary or secondary to the Renter's personal insurance, depending on the specific terms of the Protection Plan and the Renter's personal policy.

Drive Connect does not provide advice on insurance coverage. Renters should consult with their insurance carrier to understand how their personal policy interacts with Protection Plans.

7. Protection Plan Fees

Protection Plan fees are charged at booking and are non-refundable once the rental period begins. If a booking is cancelled before the rental period begins, the Protection Plan fee will be refunded in accordance with the cancellation policy.

Protection Plan fees are remitted by Drive Connect to Drive Protection Inc. following each completed transaction. Drive Connect does not retain any portion of Protection Plan fees.

8. Disputes with Drive Protection Inc.

Disputes regarding Protection Plan coverage or claims decisions are between the Renter and Drive Protection Inc. Drive Connect is not responsible for Protection Plan coverage decisions.

If you have a dispute with Drive Protection Inc., you may contact Drive Connect for documentation support. Drive Connect will provide transaction records and documentation to support your claim but cannot override Drive Protection Inc.'s coverage decisions.
